Manchester Blogger’s Meet | Fashion and Beauty
On Saturday morning I headed up to Manchester for a last minute blogger meet up held at The Milton Club, which was a beautiful venue with amazing hospitality to boot from the guys aswell. This meetup was hosted by Lucy at Pretty Little Things make sure you pop over for a look at her blog. Lucy created a great atmosphere, with icebreaker games to get all the girlies chatting and delicious sweet treats scatted around the room. What more could you need!
With drinks in our hands I started to have a wonder round the room. There was a clothes rail by the girls at Didi’s Boutique which immediately caught my eye. So many beautiful pieces were hanging there, I have heard a lot about this company and I will definitely be purchasing soon I have already eyed a few pieces up this morning. The girls were also little gems, it’s so lovely to know the faces behind a brand. I won the black tshirt above on the raffle which I’m looking forward to teaming with a pair of shorts for comfy loungewear around the house.
There were several other brands there on the day aswell including Rock On Ruby (Girly Nights Out) who are a new Manchester based company who specialise in creating slogan tshirts which are hugely on trend at the moment. There also do bespoke designed tshirts so if you have a favourite slogan and would love to style it out definitely get in touch.
As another little team challenge and in honour of Rock On Ruby we were asked to design a slogan tshirt. In my team was the lovely Anoushka, Jessica and Andrea we set to work and came up with what we thought was the ultimate female mantra. We didn’t hang around; it was sassy, colourful and won us first place. Well done girlies and thankyou to Lucy who gave us all a 7 day tanner and mitt from Skinny Tan as our prize I can’t wait to try that out.
Thankyou to Michelle for this picture, this was our finished design, too cute if we do say so ourselves! So competitions over it was time to learn about the brands involved, including the venue, the ones who had attended aswell as everyone who had contributed to the generous gift bags and raffle prizes.
We got so much I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to each of you and to Lucy who put on the marvellous event. I am really thankful to have been invited and so pleased to have met some of the friendliest bloggers in person finally. It truly was a great day.
See you next time!
