2015 | July / August Highlights

I can’t believe August has now come to an end and let’s not even talk about July, hence the ‘two in one’ highlights post. We have been really busy and the time has just flown. It has been a quick eight weeks full of both highs and lows.
London // Yes Mr. London crept up on us again surprise surprise, it’s seems to be becoming a regular thing however we are not back there now till mid September. This time it was all pleasure and no work I went for a girly weekend with my mum. Hampton Court Flower Show, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Drury Lane Theatre and catching up with my brother were just some of the highlights.
Travel // On saying it was hectic and apart from London, I didn’t get to far away from apart from York, where I went to stay with family. Luckily it was a baking hot weekend, we went all out at lunch for some wedding talk and chilled in the garden at night for a BBQ. The next day we headed into York to do a bit of shopping and sightseeing, before catching the train back home. A whistle stop visit this time, however any time spent in York is precious, a beautifully English City, quaint in every aspect with everything you could ever need. Apart from the Lake District I think it is one of my favourite place in England. See you soon York!
Events //  The last two months were quite eventful to be fair. Aswell as all the adventures in London, we had lots going on from family birthdays, to a funeral and a wedding. It certainly has been quite the summer for us. I think one of my highlights was of course seeing our beautiful cousin get married but also sneaking in a quick trip to see Cats the musical, again! Such a good production. For now I think September is going to be fairly quiet so I am looking forward to lots of chills.
Blog // If  you missed any posts over the last few weeks here are some of our faves. The cute July and August beauty boxes from You Beauty Discovery, an affordable box which isn’t to be missed. Looking for a little bit of home or gift inspiration on the lead up the Chirstmas? Our trip to the Spirit of Summer Fair could be the one for you. Finally what girl doesn’t love a bit of jewellery? The Bling Minx treated us to a gorgeous piece from their collection. Check out their page when you have two ticks.

Work // When is work ever not crazy, I had a funfilled few weeks in the office doing social media and tempting your tastebuds with all things interiors as usual. I also got the chance to spend a bit of time working on Millefiori & Modello, being able to do the flowers for my family’s funeral and wedding was both a pleasure and an honour; and hard work haha! Millefiori now has a Twitter and Instagram, if you want to follow for all things floral and design. Would love to see you over there.

Well what a summer hey.
Here’s to September, lets make it a good one.
